Ensure that all the modules whose licenses you want to verify are loaded in the agent.
Stop the agent, then re-start it. /opt/SUNWsymon/sbin/es-stop -a /opt/SUNWsymon/sbin/es-start -a Run the following command repeatedly* as the agent starts up, until the last module is loaded**. /opt/SUNWsymon/util/bin/ccat /var/opt/SUNWsymon/log/agent.log | grep -i licen As each module loads while the agent is starting, it will indicate if it is or is not licensed. . (*) To ensure that a wrapping agent.log does not hide any information - how quickly you need to re-run the command depends on how fast the agent is writing lines into the logfile, note the default agent.log size is 1000 lines. (**) This will depend on how many modules you have loaded. Typically 1-5 minutes, but can be longer on heavily loaded agent |

For the PrimeAlert Neuron Agent, use these commands (or similar as appropriate to the OS) instead:
/opt/Neuron/bin/na stop agent /opt/Neuron/bin/na start agent /opt/Neuron/sparc/ccat /var/opt/Neuron/log/agent.log | grep -i licen Note that for subscription licenses, the messages will say "unlicensed" however the "demo license" will expire in the appropriate number of days as per your subscription period. |

Craig,
Do we need to install the license file on the agent hosts? My windows agents are not connecting in. Regards, Gene |
